Macbeth - A.J. Hartley, David Hewson

I am re-reading this prior to seeing the play in a few weeks.

Alan Cumming reads the audio version and while I don't entirely agree with the authors' version of the Macbeth back story, I am willing to listen again just to hear Cumming's MAGNIFICENT rendition of the book.

Last time I saw the play was when Kelsey Grammer took it on tour and I wasn't very happy with the interpretation.  I've seen the Patrick Stewart version as well and thought that was just a lot of angry people yelling all the time--no finesse. Now I want to see what a local director/actor whose work I like can do with it.

BTW-- I prefer the cover art on the audio version to this paperback version that I was able to find  here.
