As a kid, hunting for the "Ninas" in the New York Times was a Sunday morning ritual.
I've been reading this on an e-reader. This book is not for e-reading. You can't see all the illustrations.
Moreover, in the two weeks I've had it, I haven't gotten very far. The bio is interesting but the writing is terrible.
My plan for finishing the book before the library takes it back is to thumb through the illustrations as best I can and then try to get it on inter-library loan. As much as I like Hirschfeld, I don't need a book about him on my shelves.
