The Plagiarist: A Novella - Hugh Howey, Alexander J. Masters

Delightful story. Horrid narrator.

 

I almost turned the thing off three sentences in. The sepulchral voice of the narrator was simply the wrong one--not just for this story but for any story.

 

But since the story was just an hour and half, I decided to stick with it and see where this bit of sci-fi was planning on taking me. I'm glad I did.

 

I'll give it not quite 4 stars and go check out more of Mr. Howey's work.
