Tim Gunn is a hoot and he knows a lot about fashion. While this is not a book that I would run and buy for my bookshelf, I'm not above reading it when it is sitting in my guest room. While it isn't the densest of text, it still took a couple of hours to get through.
Gunn, in his inimitable style, combines the history of what we wear today along with fashion do's and don'ts. We agree on some fashion faux pas--jeggings are not pants, they are underwear --and disagree on others. While, his style is very chatty and he abruptly changes topic there is still much to be cleaned from this short volume.
Besides which, he talks a lot about Beau Brummell!
